Happy Friday! Christmas is almost here and I’m getting ready for Santa with these Milk & Cookie Cups! These easy to make chocolate chip cookie cups have an inside layer of dark chocolate. Just add milk for a super fun snack for Santa!
This week has been very busy with travel and prep for the holidays. Therefore, I wanted a fun bake that was quick and easy to make. For these Milk & Cookie Cups, I used store bought chocolate chip cookie dough. If you have extra time, you can definitely make and use your own cookie dough!

To make the cookie cups, break apart the cookie dough into the pre portioned pieces and roll each of the pieces into a ball. Press one piece into each of the cups of two greased mini muffin pans. Use your fingers to press down in the center of dough ball to make a well.

Bake the cookie cups at 350 F for 12-14 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden in the center. Remove the cooke cups from the oven and press the end of a wooden spoon or other small round ended item into the center of each cup. I used the handle end of a drink muddler.

Let the cookie cups cool in the pans for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Once the cookie cups have cooled, melt the chocolate chips or dark chocolate melting wafers in the microwave. Use a small spatula to coat the inside of each cookie cup with melted chocolate. Place the cookie cups on a baking sheet and place in the refrigerator to chill until the chocolate has hardened, about 20 minutes.

When you’re ready to serve, place the cookie cups on a plate and fill with milk! While the chocolate coating will hold the milk for awhile, definitely eat them soon after you fill them!
Happy Holidays!
