Happy Thursday! With the New Year approaching, I’m excited to share Disney Cruise Line’s Colette Cocktail! Served at Remy aboard the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, this sparkling champagne cocktail is the perfect way to ring in the New Year!

One of my favorite parts about dining at Remy is the cocktail that’s provided when you first arrive. Inspired by Colette, one of the chefs in Ratatouille, this bubbly cocktail is a combination of champagne, orange liqueur, and vodka. It’s sweet finish is provided by spoonful of black currant pearls and dried pineapple chunks. I always associate champagne with New Year’s so it’s fun way to bring some Disney magic to your celebrations!

This recipe for the Colette Cocktail was actually shared by Disney Cruise Line a few years ago. Most of the ingredients are straightforward to find, but I did have to do a little bit of searching for the creme de cassis (black currant) pearls. Luckily, I was able to find them at a local specialty store and they’re available to order online as well. Otherwise, I used a brut champagne, Grand Marnier, a local vodka, and dried pineapple from my local grocery store.

To make the cocktail, place the black currant pearls at the bottom of a martini glass or champagne flute. I used a champagne flute for my cocktails as that’s what I had available. At Remy, they use a fancier style of martini glass that is similar to these. A regular style martini glass will also work.

The black currant pearls I found are smaller than the ones used on the ships, so I actually doubled the amount in the recipe. Depending on what kind of pearls you find, you can adjust the amount as needed. Next. add the Grand Marnier and then the vodka. Top with champagne and then add the cubes of dried pineapple.

Enjoy Disney Cruise Line’s Colette Cocktail! Happy New Year!
