Happy Friday! It’s been so hot here that all I’ve wanted is frozen treats. When I saw that Disneyland was offering a frozen banoffee banana, I knew I wanted to make one at home! I love banoffee pie and having a frozen treat inspired by it was perfect. So I’m excited to share Clarabelle’s Frozen Banoffee Bananas! Inspired by the treats at Disneyland, these frozen bananas are dipped in milk chocolate and topped with toffee pieces, caramel, and a white chocolate drizzle!

These bananas are currently available at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream in Disney California Adventure! They come as a full banana, which was harder for me to manage at home so I decided to cut my bananas in half. This made for a smaller serving size as well as an easier dipping process!
To prep the bananas, I took two large bananas and cut them in half. I inserted a lollipop stick into the cut half and placed them in an airtight container in the freezer overnight. Once frozen, I melted my milk chocolate melting wafers in a tall glass measuring cup. I melted them in the microwave, stirring them every 30 seconds until fully melted.



Take the bananas straight from the freezer and dip them into the melted chocolate, gently tapping off any excess. Place the dipped bananas on a piece of wax paper. Melt the white chocolate melting wafers by placing them in a disposable piping bag and heating them in the microwave, checking them every 30 seconds. Pipe a drizzle of white chocolate over the dipped bananas and then sprinkle a handful of toffee bits over the bananas. Finally, drizzle caramel sauce over the bananas.



You can serve these right away or place them back into an airtight container in the freezer. Enjoy Clarabelle’s Frozen Banoffee Bananas! Stay Cool!
Clarabelle’s Frozen Banoffee Bananas
Straight from DCA, these milk chocolate dipped frozen bananas are topped with toffee bits, caramel, and white chocolate!
Ingredients
Frozen Banoffee Bananas
- 2 large bananas, cut in half
- 10 oz Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Melting Wafers
- 1/4 cup Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers
- 1/4 cup toffee bits
- caramel sauce
- 4 lollipop or popsicle sticks
- 1 disposable piping bag
Instructions

Frozen Banoffee Bananas

Insert a lollipop or popsicle stick into the cut half of each banana. Place the bananas in an airtight container and freeze overnight.

Place the milk chocolate melting wafers in a deep glass measuring cup. Heat in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.

Place the white chocolate melting wafers in a disposable piping bag. Heat in the microwave, massaging the bag every 30 seconds until melted.

Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer and dip each banana into the milk chocolate, coating all sides. Gently tap off any excess.

Pipe a drizzle of white chocolate over each banana. Sprinkle toffee bits over the bananas. Finish with a drizzle of caramel sauce.

Serve immediately or place in an airtight container in the freezer.
