Happy Friday! It’s finally feeling like Spring where I live, which had me thinking about the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival and one of its mascots, Orange Bird. Oranges always make me think of one of my favorite frozen treats, creamsicles. In EPCOT, an orange slush is usually served in a super cute Orange Bird sipper. I decided to put a creamsicle twist on this festival treat and I’m excited to share Orange Bird’s Creamsicle Shake. This super easy milkshake is a combination of vanilla ice cream and fresh orange juice. Just blend together for a fun and refreshing treat!

orange bird's creamsicle shake

This milkshake is super easy to make as it’s just two ingredients–vanilla ice cream and orange juice. To make the shake, just place the ice cream and orange juice in a blender and blend until smooth. This recipe makes two small milkshakes or one large milkshake. If you’re looking to make more, just double it!

While my Orange Bird is technically a sipper, I prefer to serve the milkshakes regular glasses as they’re easier to clean. This version of the Orange Bird sipper is from the 2019 festival, but if you’re in EPCOT, you can find this year’s version of the sipper at The Citrus Blossom booth. In past years it was served with an orange cream slush but this year it’s served with an orange lemon slush.

Enjoy Orange Bird’s Creamsicle Shake! Happy Spring!
