Happy Friday! I’m kicking off the weekend with these Mini Mickey Donuts! Made with Select Brands’ Mickey Waffle and Donut Maker, these super cute Mickey donuts have a light chocolate flavor and a sugar glaze!
I was so excited to try out the Mickey Waffle and Donut Maker after winning it as part of Select Brands’ Bake Your Mark Competition. So far, I love it! Just like my other Select Brands appliances, it’s very easy to use and makes the cutest shaped waffles and donuts! As someone who lives in an apartment, I also love the interchangeable cooking plates as it basically lets me have three appliances in one footprint.

To make the batter for these donuts, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture, stirring to combine.
Transfer the batter to a large piping bag so that you can pipe it into the donut maker plates. Pipe the batter into the preheated donut maker, filling each cavity about 2/3 full. Bake in the appliance for 4-5 minutes. Remove the donuts from the appliance and set on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining batter.

For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Use a pastry brush to brush the glaze over the warm donuts.

Enjoy these Mini Mickey Donuts! Thank you Select Brands for the Mickey Treat Maker!
