Ingredients

Chocolate Donuts

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • piping bag
  • pastry brush

Instructions

Chocolate Donuts

  1. Preheat the Mickey Waffle and Donut Maker.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Transfer the batter to a large piping bag.
  6. Pipe the batter into the donut maker, filling each cavity about 2/3 full. Bake 4-5 minutes.
  7. Remove the donuts and place on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Repeat with remaining batter.

Glaze

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
  2. Use a pastry brush to brush the glaze over the warm donuts.
