Happy Wednesday! Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I’m excited to share Mickey’s Thanksgiving Dessert Board! Perfect for gatherings, this dessert board is packed with mini pies, apple cider cakes, Mickey shaped brownies, maple cream cookies, and Oreo turkeys!
One of my favorite things about dessert boards is how easy they are to customize. Whether you want a specific theme or flavor, you can choose a selection of your favorite treats, spending as much (or as little) time on it as you’d like. For this Thanksgiving themed board, I used a mix of favorite fall recipes and store bought treats!

To make my board, I started by making a batch of apple cider cakes using my Poison Apple Cakes recipe. For this board, I used a different shaped pan, replacing the mini bundts with small apple shapes. I used Nordic Ware’s Apple Cakelette Pan, which is currently on sale at King Arthur Baking!
Next, I made a batch of Mickey shaped brownies. I used Ghirardelli’s Double Chocolate Brownie Mix but you could also make homemade brownies. If you’re looking for a recipe, check out my Fall Mickey Brownies! Once the brownies were baked and cooled, I used a Mickey shaped cookie cutter to cut them into Mickey shapes.
The last thing I assembled were the Oreo turkeys. You’ll need regular sized Oreos, candy corn, candy eyes, yellow Reese’s Pieces or M&Ms, and red gel icing. To make them, first gently separate the cookies. Then, press four pieces of candy corn into the cookie filling. Gently replace the cookie top, securing it with gel icing if needed. Dab a little bit of gel icing onto the candy eyes and place them onto the top cookie. Cut the Reese’s Pieces or M&Ms in half and place a dab of gel icing onto the cut side. Attach it vertically between the eyes and then pipe a little bit of the red icing next to it.
For the rest of the board, I used items that I found at local shops. I got the three mini pies from a local bakery, but if you’re looking for a mini pie recipe, check out my Pumpkin Mickey Pies! The final item on the board are Maple Leaf cookies from Trader Joe’s.
To assemble the dessert board, first pick out a charcuterie board or other serving platter. I used a wooden Mickey shaped board from the Disney Store. First place the mini pies, then add the line of apple cakes. Fill in the remaining place with the Mickey shaped brownies and Maple Leaf cookies. As the finishing touch, I added a few Oreo turkeys.
Enjoy Mickey’s Thanksgiving Dessert Board! Happy Thanksgiving!
