Happy Saturday! It’s Cinderella’s 75th Anniversary and I was inspired by the Fairy Godmother to make these Magic Wand Rice Krispies! These star shaped rice krispie treats are coated with white chocolate and decorated with white, silver, and blue sprinkles!
Cinderella is one of my favorite princesses and I love that when you eat at Cinderella’s Royal Table or board the Disney Wish, you’re given a magic wand to take home. For me, it’s a small reminder that dreams and wishes are important and that you have the power to make those dreams and wishes come true. So, I made an edible version of these wands that are not only magical, but delicious too!

To make these Magic Wand Rice Krispies, first make the rice krispie treats by melting the butter in a large saucepan. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the Rice Krispies cereal.

Once thoroughly mixed, transfer the rice krispies to a greased 9×13 inch pan or baking dish. Let the treats cool and then cut them out into star shapes using a cookie cutter. I used a star cutter from Wilton. It helps if you grease the cookie cutter with a bit of cooking spray!
After they’re cut into star shapes, press some candy or lollipop sticks into the bottoms of the stars to make a wand. Then, melt some white or confetti colored candy melts by placing them into a microwave safe bowl. Heat in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. I used some confetti colored candy melts from Michaels because I liked the mix of white, pink, and blue.

Dip the star rice krispies into the candy melts, fully covering all sides. Place them on a piece of wax paper to set. Once all are dipped, and before the candy melt has set, sprinkle the stars with white, silver, and blue sparkling sugar.

Enjoy these Magic Wand Rice Krispies!
