These honeycomb shaped honey waffles are light, fluffy, and perfect with a drizzle of honey and some fresh fruit!

Ingredients

Honeycomb Waffles

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons honey

Instructions

Honeycomb Waffles

  1. Heat waffle maker according to waffle maker instructions.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture and whisk until combined.
  5. Add the honey and whisk until smooth.
  6. Spoon 2-3 spoonfuls of batter into the waffle maker and cook according to your waffle maker’s instructions.
  7. Serve warm with a drizzle of honey and fresh fruit.
