Instructions
Candy Bows
Place ½ cup of purple candy melts in a disposable piping bag. Heat in the microwave, manipulating the bag, every 30 seconds until completely melted.
Pipe the candy melts into a bow shaped candy mold. Tap the mold on the counter a few times to release any air bubbles.
Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes or until solid. Remove the candies from the mold and set aside until ready to decorate.
Vanilla Cupcakes
Preheat the oven to 350 F and line a 6-cup muffin pan with cupcake liners. Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla, beating until combined.
Gradually add the flour, beating on low speed. Add the milk and beat until combined.
Transfer the dough to the prepared muffin pan and bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Vanilla Frosting
In a medium bowl, beat the butter until creamy.
Add the powdered sugar, beating on low speed until just combined.
Add the milk and vanilla extract. Beat on medium high speed until light and fluffy.
Transfer the frosting to a piping bag fitted with a large star piping tip.
Assembly
Pipe a swirl of frosting onto the tops of the cupcakes.
Press a purple candy bow into the frosting on the front of each cupcake.
Place two candy melts into the frosting on the sides of each cupcake to make Minnie’s ears.
Press two bunny ear candy sprinkles into the frosting on the top of the cupcakes.
