Happy Saturday! With the hot weather and busy schedules, I’ve been making a lot of my favorite drink — chai lattes. This week, some mischievous chipmunks got involved and my iced chai latte came out extra delicious! Chip & Dale’s Mac Nut Chai Latte is a super easy twist on a classic iced chai. Just combine chai concentrate, milk, and some mac nut syrup!

Once thing I like about chai is that there is a lot of variation in the flavor. Some brands are spicer, some are sweeter, and some have some extra flavors mixed in. I’ve been trying out a few different chai brands (really loving Bad Ass Hawaii’s Spiced Chai) but for iced chai lattes, my favorite is the Tazo Classic Chai Latte Concentrate. You can definitely use your favorite though!

For the latte, I first mixed the chai concentrate with regular milk and then stirred in the mac nut syrup. I used syrup from Pono Potions, a Hawaiian brand, that I picked up a pop up shop a few weeks ago. Their syrups have a great flavor and are perfect in chai lattes, coffee, and cocktails! Otherwise, both Monin and Torani made a macadamia nut syrup that you could use.

I used regular 1% milk for my latte, but feel free to use any kind of milk. I’ve recently been trying chai lattes with Oatly Oak Milk and have enjoyed the slight change in flavor (just make sure to use the barista edition)!
