-
Preheat oven to 425 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
-
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Set aside.
-
Remove butter from the refrigerator and shred into small pieces using a box grater.
-
Add butter to the flour mixture and mix using hands until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
-
Add mix and continue mixing with hands until just combined. Be careful not to overwork the dough.
-
Transfer dough to a floured surface and gently knead together. Once it is well combined, found the dough in half and use your hands to gently press the layers together. Rotate 90 degrees and repeat the folding and flattening process. Repeat 4-5 times, making sure not to overwork the dough.
-
After the final fold, use your hands to flatten the dough to 1-inch thickness. Place the Pooh stencil on top of the dough and use a sharp knife to cut around the edges of the stencil. Gently re-work the dough as needed. Transfer cut biscuits to the prepared baking sheet.
-
Bake for 12 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits are just being to turn lightly golden brown.
-
Cover with a liberal amount of honey and serve warm.
