Mickey's Peppermint Cocoa

Ingredients

Peppermint Hot Cocoa

  • 8 ounces milk
  • 1/4 cup or one packet hot cocoa mix
  • 1 tablespoon peppermint syrup
  • marshmallows or whipped cream

Equipment

  • milk frother or small saucepan

Instructions

  1. Place the milk into the pitcher of a milk frother or a small saucepan. If using a frother, heat milk according to instructions on the hot chocolate setting. If using a saucepan, heat until milk is steaming but not boiling.
  2. Add the cocoa and the peppermint syrup. If using a frother, let it mix and heat according to instructions. If using a saucepan, stir until the cocoa mix and syrup and fully combined.

  3. Transfer the cocoa to a mug and add desired toppings (marshmallows, whipped cream, or chocolate shavings).
