Chip ‘n’ Dale Nutella Milkshakes

It’s April Fool’s Day! Celebrate with these Chip ‘n’ Dale Nutella milkshakes! Just like the ones in Disneyland Paris, these nutella milkshakes are topped with cocoa powder and Chip ‘n’ Dale fondant decorations!

Ingredients

Nutella Milkshakes

  • 3 cups vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 6 tablespoons Nutella

Decorations

  • white fondant
  • red fondant
  • black fondant
  • cocoa powder

Whipped Cream

  • ½ pint heavy cream

Equipment

  • Chip ‘n’ Dale stencils (see blog post)
  • sharp knife
  • fine mesh strainer

Instructions

Decorations

  1. Cut out the Chip ‘n’ Dale stencils, making sure to adjust the size to your glass size.
  2. Roll out a small amount of white fondant on a flat surface lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Using a sharp knife, cut out four oval eyes, two snouts, two mouths, and four teeth. Set aside.
  3. Roll out a small amount of red fondant on a flat surface, lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Using s sharp knife, cut out two small mouths to fit inside the white mouths. Roll a bit of red fondant into a jelly bean shape to make Dale’s nose. Set aside.
  4. Take a small amount of the black fondant and divide it into 4 small balls and 1 medium ball. Gently press the four small balls to make the pupils for the eyes. Roll the medium ball into a jelly bean shape to make Chip’s nose. Set aside.
  5. Place the black pupils into the white eyes and the red mouth into the white mouth, and the teeth onto the red mouth, using a damp finger to attach the fondant together.

Whipped Cream

  1. Place chilled heavy cream into a cold mixing bowl. Beat on high until it holds stiff peaks. Set aside until ready to decorate.

Milkshakes

  1. Combine ice cream, nutella, and milk in a blender. Blend until well combined. Add more milk if it’s too thick.

Assembly

  1. Divide milkshakes into two glasses. Top with whipped cream, making sure to smooth the top.
  2. Place the head stencil on top of the whipped cream and gently sift cocoa powder over the top to fill in the stencil. Repeat with the second milkshake.
  3. Gently place the fondant eyes on top of the cocoa powder. Place the mouth below them, and then add the snouts and the noses.
