Happy Friday! The Disney100 Celebration kicked off last weekend and to celebrate I’m sharing these Disney100 Celebration Floats! Inspired by the purple and silver celebration colors, these fun floats have vanilla ice cream, grape soda, and Mickey ears!
I actually wasn’t super familiar with grape soda floats until I was in college. When I was growing up we mostly had root beer, coke, or orange soda floats. While those are probably still my favorites, grape soda floats are definitely a fun addition!

These floats are super easy to make. All you need is vanilla ice cream, grape soda, and a couple Oreos.
Start with a tall glass and add a 2-3 scoops of your favorite vanilla ice cream. I used a classic vanilla ice cream from Haagen-Dazs, but any kind will work!
Next, pour the grape soda over the ice cream. I used a bottle of Stewart’s Grape Soda because I really like their other sodas, but any grape soda will be good. It’s likely that the soda won’t all fit into the glass, so you can keep it nearby to add more soda as you go.
Finally, add a couple of Oreo cookies to the top of the float, gently pressing them into the ice cream to make Mickey ears.
Add a straw and/or a spoon and enjoy these Disney100 Celebration Floats! Happy kickoff to the Disney100 Celebration!
